By accessing or using this website, submitting information through our forms, or engaging with us regarding our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
1. About our Services
BnR Films Film Festival Consultancy Division provides professional consultancy and strategic support relating to a film’s festival journey. Our services may include:
- Film Festival Strategy & Planning
- Professional Festival Submission Management
- Film Positioning & Branding
- Strategic Festival Guidance
- Festival Participation Consultancy
- Other related consultancy services agreed with the client
The exact scope, duration, deliverables, professional fees and other terms applicable to a particular engagement may be communicated separately and/or governed by a specific proposal, quotation, engagement letter, agreement or other written communication between BnR Films and the client.
2. Nature of Consultancy
BnR Films provides strategic advice and professional consultancy based on the information available to us, the nature of the film, its objectives, festival eligibility requirements and other relevant considerations.
Film festival selection and participation are inherently competitive and are determined independently by individual festivals and their respective selection committees, juries, programmers or organisers.
Accordingly, BnR Films does not guarantee selection, nomination, screening, award, recognition, distribution, commercial success or any particular outcome at any film festival or other platform.
3. Independent Film Festivals
Film festivals are independent third-party organisations. Unless expressly stated otherwise, BnR Films is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by or acting on behalf of any particular film festival.
Festival rules, eligibility requirements, deadlines, submission fees, premiere requirements, categories, dates, venues and other conditions may be changed by festival organisers without prior notice.
Final decisions concerning selection, rejection, scheduling, screening, awards and participation remain entirely with the respective festival.
4. Scope Exclusions
BnR Films Film Festival Consultancy Division does not provide film festival programming or curation, nor does it develop, organise, manage, administer, produce or operate film festivals.
We also do not provide festival event management or event production services unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing under a separate engagement.
5. Submit Your Film
The “Submit Your Film” facility on this website enables filmmakers, producers, production companies, representatives and other authorised persons to provide information about a film for our review.
Submitting a film or completing the form:
- does not constitute acceptance of the film as a client project;
- does not create a consultancy agreement or other contractual relationship;
- does not guarantee that BnR Films will offer services in relation to the film; and
- does not guarantee any festival outcome.
BnR Films may review the information provided and contact the person submitting the form to discuss potential services or next steps.
6. Authority to Submit Materials
By submitting a film, screener, screenplay, synopsis, poster, trailer, photograph, press material, link, password or any other information or material to BnR Films, you confirm that:
- you are authorised to provide the material;
- you have the necessary rights or permissions to share it with us for the intended purpose; and
- our review of the material for consultancy-related purposes will not knowingly infringe the rights of any third party.
You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of the materials you provide.
7. Film Screeners and Submitted Materials
Film screeners, private links, passwords and other materials submitted through the website are requested solely to enable us to understand and evaluate the film in connection with your enquiry and potential consultancy requirements.
Submission of such material does not transfer ownership or intellectual-property rights in the film or submitted material to BnR Films.
You retain your applicable rights in your film and materials.
8. Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that information supplied to BnR Films is complete and accurate.
This is particularly important for information relating to:
- previous festival submissions;
- selections, nominations and awards;
- previous screenings;
- premiere status;
- public or online availability;
- production country;
- completion date;
- rights and permissions; and
- any other information relevant to festival eligibility.
BnR Films may rely upon information supplied by you when providing consultancy or preparing a festival strategy.
9. Festival Submission Fees and other Costs
Unless specifically stated otherwise in a written proposal or agreement, festival entry fees, platform charges, travel, accommodation, shipping, screening-material preparation, certification, translation, subtitling, publicity and other third-party expenses are separate from BnR Films’ consultancy fees.
Any applicable payment arrangements will be communicated separately.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including its text, graphics, branding, design elements, logos and original materials, belongs to BnR Films and/or the respective rights holders.
Nothing on this website grants permission to reproduce, distribute, modify, commercially exploit or otherwise use protected material without appropriate authorisation.
Film titles, posters, stills, trailers, logos and other materials appearing in portfolio or project sections may remain the property of their respective rights holders and are displayed in connection with the relevant project, where applicable.
